My forms of personal publishing are Facebook(which I comment on things, post statuses, upload photos and videos. etc.) Blogger(which I post assignments from Digital Communications), Voicethread, and Hotmail. I also post Glogs on Glogster.
Personal publishing is posting things about your personal life or thoughts on the internet. While using personal publishing you can share with the World memories, ideas, and writings.
Some things people think about before posting things on the internet are the people that are going to see it. Stalkers could see what your publishing and find out where you live very easily.
Issues to Consider
Audience: When you are publishing something on the internet it can eventually be read by anyone, even if you think it certain people don’t have access to your information.
Anonymity: Even when you use a fake name on the internet, people can still see what you are saying by using a “digital footprint.” This lets the authorities see where everything on the internet came from and who posted it.
Permanence: If you post inappropriate things on the internet it could be seen for years to come.
Copyright: If you are going to post something on the internet, use your own words. Or get the persons permission.
Free Speech: Having a right to free speech does not mean that you can say whatever you want.
